xeroderma pigmentosum

this is a rare autosomal recessive condition due to defective nucleotide excision causing susceptibility to cancers.
the condition is exaggerated by exposure to sunlight (u v ray), they are called by some persons as vampires (though it is derogatory) .
this patient presented with black dry skin with recurrent skin cancers - basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, trichoepithelioma and multiple biopsy marks over face and body.

the chest xray showed cannon ball metastasis..
